Hey! Happy Friday!
How was everyones week? To be completely honest, mine was kind of 'blah'. I've been in a funk this week and I've felt like I've been going nonstop with everything except working out. I didn't get home from work until nearly 7pm Tuesday-Thursday and my scheduled gym sessions were put on the back-burner.
I'm hoping I will snap out of whatever it is I'm going through soon! Needless to say, I'm looking forward to the weekend! I have a 5 mile run scheduled for tomorrow morning and I'm definitely looking forward to my feet hitting the pavement and working up a sweat!
Nothing like a huge picture of some raw chicken to kick off your Friday morning, eh?
No, but really, these meals are legit. I received a coupon for $3 off one of these meals and decided to pick one up during my weekly grocery store run last Sunday. Earlier in the week Schoen had a work dinner so I decided to make this for myself for dinner since he was out. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! Way to go HEB
If you haven't tried Suddenly Grain Salad
yet, you need to...like right now. Stay tuned for a fun recipe which incorporates this yummy salad to make meal prep a cinch!
This 'Dog's Bedtime Prayer'
I read this to Schoen the other night while we were laying in bed and we both agreed that it was adorable and oh so true! Roxie is notorious for getting out of her bed and snuggling up right next to Schoen, especially if it is storming outside! Even though she is only 6lbs, she makes it nearly impossible for him to move during the night!
Cotton Candy Grapes
I picked up a package of Cotton Candy Grapes last weekend after seeing people post about them all over social media the past few weeks. I've been snacking on them all through out the week and I really love them! Schoen is not a big fan of them though, but he's never been big into eating fruit. These would be really yummy frozen too!
I've seen so many people post all of their fall decorations, pumpkin spice latte's and fall scented candles. I think I'm going to finally jump on the bandwagon and pull out our fall decorations this weekend.
