As you all know, Schoen and I will be jetting off to Mexico later this weekend for a much needed vacation! The resort we are staying at has a pretty awesome gym from the pictures I have seen and they also offer fitness activities throughout the day. You better bet I plan on partaking in as many activities as I can while I'm there!
While we were in the Bahamas for our honeymoon last year, I did water aerobics almost every day and Schoen and I participated in the Water Olympics which included water basketball and volleyball. We also went on an excursion and went snorkeling, swam with pigs (yes, pigs!) and hiked up a mountain that over looked the gorgeous caribbean. We had an absolute blast!
I plan on enjoying myself while I'm there and I am not going to restrict what I eat. But I also plan on being as active as possible!
Since I live a pretty active lifestyle, I thought it would be fitting to do a quick post about workouts you could easily do while on vacation! This SUP Core Workout from Swell Fitness is demonstrated on a paddle board, but could easily be done on land.
This Walk the Plank Workout from The Live Fit Girls is another great workout to target your core and can easily be done by the beach or pool.
